When we look at cannabis sales on Friday 9/3 ahead of the Labor Day weekend in US markets (CA, CO, MI, NV, OR, PA, & WA), we found that sales were up 10.3% over the previous four Fridays, which drove this day to be the third largest day of total US cannabis sales so far this year! We also see that all categories saw positive growth with Edibles (+15.1%), Capsules (+13.3%), and Vapor Pens (+11.2%), seeing the most sales lift compared to the previous four Fridays. Median Store SKU Counts

The number of distinct SKUs sold in the median store in the most recently completed month. Median was used instead of an average to remove the effects of outlier stores.

MOM LSSG

Median store Like-Store-Sales-Growth MoM - The month over month growth in sales for the median sample store (for example, January 2022 vs. December 2021). “Like stores” are filtered to exclude any newly opened stores or recently disconnected stores.
