Cannabis sales on Valentine’s Day 2022
Similar to last year, the Topicals category was once again in the lead this Valentine’s Day, growing +14% compared to the previous four Mondays across US markets (CA, CO, MI, NV, OR, and WA). The Beverages category also did well, growing +9%, followed by the Edibles category at +7% sales growth. Within the Topicals category, the Massage Oil/Lube segment saw the largest growth, up +89% over the previous four Mondays. In the Edibles category, the Chocolates segment grew +29%. With about +20% sales growth each on Valentine's Day, both the Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate flavored Edibles performed much better than Dark Chocolate Edibles, which had totally flat sales.

MOM LSSG
Median store Like-Store-Sales-Growth MoM - The month over month growth in sales for the median sample store (for example, January 2022 vs. December 2021). “Like stores” are filtered to exclude any newly opened stores or recently disconnected stores.
