Delivery and in-store cannabis sales in Michigan
How do in-store cannabis sales compare to delivery? In Michigan, we examined over 100 stores in the month of February 2022 and found that about 3.5% of total sales were to delivery orders compared to in-store sales. This is a small increase from the same time last year, when 3.2% of sales were to delivery orders. The average ticket size for delivery orders was about 50% larger as well ($104 compared to $68 for in-store tickets).

The average size (in sales $) of a retail basket in the most recently completed month.
Median Store SKU Counts
The number of distinct SKUs sold in the median store in the most recently completed month. Median was used instead of an average to remove the effects of outlier stores.
MOM LSSG
Median store Like-Store-Sales-Growth MoM - The month over month growth in sales for the median sample store (for example, January 2022 vs. December 2021). “Like stores” are filtered to exclude any newly opened stores or recently disconnected stores.
