The top summer cannabis strains in Michigan & California

Summer is winding down and harvest season is just around the corner. As we get ready for another busy season, let's review some of the top-performing strains of the summer months in two very different markets: Michigan and California.

The top cannabis strains in MI & CA: Last 90 days

As we can see, the top strain in California is Wedding Cake. The top brand selling Wedding Cake is Pacific Stone, which has sold $7.3M in Wedding Cake over the last 90 days. Michigan's top strain is GG4. The top brand selling GG4 in Michigan (besides House Brand), is Rogue Raven Farms, which owned 12.7% of GG4's overall sales in Michigan over the last 90 days.

Strains that showed up on both top lists included Wedding Cake, MAC, Kush Mints, Blue Dream and Ice Cream Cake.

There were two strains on California's top strain list, 805 Glue and Cereal Milk, that had no sales within MI the last 90 days. There were also two strains on Michigan's top strain list that had no sales in California the last 90 days: Citral Glue and Skunk Hero.
